Transporting 12 cow leather hides across Seoul is not an easy task, these things are heavy.
Here it is, Peeta Planet’s Episode on Seoul! Peeta Planet is a show powered by Google and sponsored by the Dubai Gov’t, about two brothers who travel the world and meet creatives in 12 different cities. Episode 4 features one of our favorite restaurants Vatos Urban Tacos, Wolf Schroder Starcraft 2 commentator, and finally IISE! This was our first television appearance and you can check us organic dye scarves, talk about our brand, and eat some live octopus for breakfast at Noryangjin Fish Market! Big thank you to the whole Peeta Planet crew for this wonderful experience. You can visit their youtube channel to see the other episodes!
When we made our first small collection, we hand cut tags and stamped them with our mold onto Hanji paper. Hanji paper’s origins are believed to be first made in between the years 200 and 500 and was regarded as the highest quality paper available in Eastern Asia. The random specks of color and spots all over is what first attracted us to using it and when you deal with the paper the texture feels very natural and light. We decided we are going to use it again as a packaging detail when our capsule collection releases in a few weeks!
